1999 - Anita Carter, of country music's legendary Carter Family, died at age 66. Anita was the stand-up bass player and a vocalist.
1996 - Deana Carter's single "Strawberry Wine" hit the airwaves.
1989 - Reba hit number one with "Cathy's Clown."
