Lady Antebellum Begins Sold-Out Two-Night Stand at Ryman Auditorium
Lady Antebellum begins their sold-out two-night stand at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium Wednesday, March 10 and
the trio is thrilled to come back to their hometown as headliners. Band member Dave Haywood tells us, "We haven't
played a full-out hour and a half headlining show in Nashville since before we got our record deal in 2007." Adds
his bandmate Hillary Scott, "And even then we didn't play an hour and a half." Dave jokes that they played shorter
shows back then because they didn't have enough songs to fill out a full show.
Miranda Lambert is a friend of the band, and she played her entire album Revolution the first time she headlined the
Ryman last year. So, will Lady A follow her lead and perform their platinum album Need You Now at the show? Band
member Charles Kelley tells us, "I think we'll just do a show...We don't have any time to rehearse the whole entire
perfect album...I would hate to get out there with only a couple practices under our belt and try to recreate this
record." Instead, Lady Antebellum plans to simply give Nashville the best show possible with tunes from both of
their full albums, including the smash hit "Need You Now" and their latest single, "American Honey."
