Foxworthy Headlines A Worthy Event: Dry Heat All-Star Comedy Show Friday, July 29th

PHOENIX, AZ – The Michael Finney Foundation is pleased to present the Dry Heat Classic Comedy All-Star Show featuring Jeff Foxworthy and a host of hilarious acts at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 29th at the historic Celebrity Theatre. Proceeds benefit Hope for The Warriors and Arizona Spinal Cord Injury, a chapter of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Association.

Put your "going out" clothes on ‘cause Jeff Foxworthy will be bringing his best, most classy clown material to Mike and Mark’s 19th Annual Dry Heat Classic Comedy Show. Foxworthy, who hails from the South, is known for spoofing “rednecks.” His first recording, You Might Be a Redneck If..., went double platinum. He is the largest-selling comedy-recording artist, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, and bestselling author of more than twenty-six books. He's hosted or starred in five TV series including Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader and the American Banking Competition. Foxworthy was also a part of one of the most successful comedy tours of all time, The Blue Collar Comedy Tour

The evening’s hosts are expert funny men as well: multiple award-winning comedy magician Michael Finney and “The Spouse Whisper” comedian Mark Cordes. These comedy veterans will be joined by a plethora of humor hounds: Nate Bargatze of Comedy Central’s Full Time Magic and multiple late night appearances like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His father is a world class magician Stephen Bargatze, who is also on the evening’s bill. Other known talents heading up the laughs are Bruce Baum (The Simpsons, Hollywood Squares plus America’s Funniest People); comedian Kevin Jordan who has performed over 100 USO shows for every branch of the military worldwide; comedy magician Fielding West; plus Steve Smith, Michael Walter, James O’Brien, Tim McTigue and more!

Hope For The Warriors® provides support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources.

The Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries.
